UNIFORMS

The official Southern AYSO uniform is a gold or black jersey, with your choice in color of shorts and socks.

Everyone must wear shinguards under socks.

NO CASTS, SPLINTS, EARRINGS OR JEWELRY (EXCEPT MEDICAL ALERT) ARE PERMITTED FOR GAMES OR PRACTICES. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

OTHER EQUIPMENT

Footwear: Soccer shoes, tennis shoes or similar type athletic shoes must be worn at games and practice. Cleated shoes are not allowed to have a toe cleat or metal cleats.

Shinguards: Shinguards are mandatory for both practice and games. They must be covered entirely by socks.

Soccer Balls: The following age groups use the ball size as shown:

Schoolyard, U6, U8 - Size 3 (weight 10-12oz)

U10, U12 - Size 4 (weight 12-14oz)

U14, U16, U18 - Size 5 (weight 14-16oz)

JERSEYS

Jersey costs are separate from registration fees.

Jerseys come in sets (one black and one gold, with the same number on each)
